Just another example of why a SHORT SALE is NOT a pleasant experience for a home buyer.

I had a home listed as a SHORT SALE, had a contract on the home, and to top it off, a divorce situation with the seller's.

We have been trying to get the seller's to submit all documents to start to process and could not get one of the parties to respond. Weeks went by, lots of phone calls on my part, and come to find out, one of the seller's had been working with the bank himself to save his home for himself. Thought he did not need to notify me???? Well now the buyer is out of luck and back to square one.

This is another example of what can happen with a short sale. If you have lots of patience, and I mean 60-120+ days, and are prepared for all worse case scenarios, then go ahead and take the gamble. And GAMBLE is exactly what a SHORT SALE is.

Do NOT plan to pursue a SHORT SALE on a dream home. Your world could shatter and it may ruin your thoughts of the AMERICAN DREAM.
