While State Farm is dropping property insurance policyholders like flies, Security First Insurance is scooping them up!

Security First Insurance, a homeowner's insurance company run out of Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida is offering full homeowner coverage, including windstorm coverage, to the first 50,000 policyholders coming from State Farm Insurance that contacts them. This offer doesn't only stand true in Volusia County, Florida, it stands for every county throughout the state.

Run by the former state Sen. Locke Burt, Security First Insurance is the first insurer to pledge a specific amount of State Farm swaps, according the Ed Domansky, a spokesperson for the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation.
