The real estate sales are inclining at all time record rates in Southwest Florida, specifically in Lee County. According to the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc., 1,326 homes sold in March alone; which is the highest number of sales in the past five years. Foreclosures are making up a majority of the sales.

Meanwhile...Hillsborough County has also seen a huge incline, according to the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors.  1,400 homes were sold last month, showing the best numbers since June of 2007.  The housing inventory is down to just under a year in Hillsborough County, while in Lee County the inventory is way down to 4.8 months! 

Sounds as if the real estate market is beginning to move, my advice is if you find a property that you like, write a contract today, act quickly, the good deals are moving fast!
