Here in Jacksonville, the unemployment rate is dropping, existing home sales are on the rise, pending sales and house start applications are also seeing a jump! According to Fannie Mae Chief Economist Doug Duncan, "Financial conditions are improving as seen by the unwinding of various programs, most notably the mortgage-backed securities purchase program, which ended in March, this is strong evidence that the Fed believes the financial sector can stand on its own."

Here's a fun fact:  Did you know that Jacksonville is the largest city in area in the entire nation?
