Obama needs to start delivering on his promises before its too late
October 30, 2009

"Let me control the money of a nation and I care not who makes its laws". - Meyer Rothschild, Creator of the Central Banking System

I find it very interesting that Jon Corzine is Governor of New Jersey and was a U.S. Senator and now N.J. taxpayers are paying his old company, Goldman Sachs. How many big business heads of state enter politics and through their political positions continue enriching their former colleagues. Everybody knows about HenryPaulson, ex-Secretary of the Treasury and another ex-CEO of Goldman Sachs. The taxpayers are paying and Goldman Sachs is receiving, as usual and it goes on and on, just like when Vice President Cheney's former position as head of Halliburton got Halliburton all the private contractor work in Iraq with no bids or competition and, now, Halliburton isn't even an American company. They are a Dubai corporation, a place Cheney and his pals like to hang out and where VP Cheney was during the Republican Convention. C’mon, who are these guys working for?

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

President Barack Obama has been saying that the big banks that got taxpayer billions should return the favor by lending more to qualified small businesses.

The president says that too many small business owners remain unable to get credit despite administration steps to jump-start lending, which was virtually frozen when the financial crisis took hold last year.

"These are the very taxpayers who stood by America's banks in a crisis, and now it's time for our banks to stand by creditworthy small businesses and make the loans they need to open their doors, grow their operations and create new jobs," Obama said. "It's time for those banks to fulfill their responsibility to help ensure a wider recovery, a more secure system and more broadly shared prosperity," the President reiterated, and then went on to say that the administration will "take every appropriate step to encourage them to meet those responsibilities.”

Well, I sincerely hope that President Obama can produce on these promises to make these banks loan again; I mean loan to working people and small businesses and before our money turns into the monopoly money it’s beginning to feel like and get people working again. Too many of these banks are obviously holding their TARP funds and repairing their books without helping anyone but themselves and the politicians, none of which is exactly experiencing hunger pains.

May our friends respect us, trouble neglect us, angels protect us and heaven accept us.
