The neighborhood stabilization program for Hernando county seems to be caught in limbo with nothing more than meetings and innuendo taking place while other cities and counties in Florida have already been getting on with this program. There was supposed to have been packets brought out on May 20, 2009 but now I have just heard that these packets will not be available till the middle of June and they are supposed to be submitted by the end of June. This is a real problem and might mean that all interested parties will not get to use this program nor will it benefit the folks that it is meant to bring into the housing market. Hernando county needs to get its act together and do this in a timely and fair manner .
