The dolphins are normally people friendly, but they have heavily come to rely on boaters to give them food. Take a boat out of Hernando County Beach or Bayport and once out to the Gulf, the dolphins are putting on a show. It is great to see them; they are so graceful and look happy.

As with anything else, there is always a downside. They follow boats and are swallowing hooks, lines, etc.

I moved to Hernando County, Weeki Wachee, Florida because of the natural beauty and great lifestyle. I miss my friends in Long Island, NY, but I don't have any desire to move back. As a matter of fact, my best friend is coming to visit me from Long Island, I said to her, "we can do this and that", and she said, all I want to do is enjoy the beauty of your home and relax at your pool"; the area is so peaceful.
