Yes, it's true..West Pasco’s' Native American Festival, the Chasco Fiesta, is in full swing at Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey, Pasco County, Florida, this week,  providing 11 days of music, vendors, parades and carnivals!

The nightly musical entertainment will bounce of the walls of downtown with the Rhythm and Bluesmasters show, tonight from 6-11 p.m., tickets can be purchased at the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce office or at the gate, for $10. From 4-11 p.m. on Saturday is Rock n' Roll Tribute Day, this show will consist of artists, such as, Knight Sounds, Ozona, a couple of tribute bands to Jimmy Hendrix and Paul McCartney, belting out some of the most popular rock n' roll tunes.  Different forms of musical entertainment will take the stage every evening, so don't forget your dancing shoes!

Handmade crafts, jewelry, Native American items and multitudes of food vendors will line the festival selling their wares and delicious food items, making sure you keep up your energy during this 11 day celebration! 

Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. the ever famous Chasco Street Parade will kick off, displaying incredible floats and lots and lots of beads! On Tuesday, March 31, 2009, throw on your bathing suit and head to the Pithlachascotee River at 1:00 p.m., for the annual Boat Parade!  Later on that evening, at 5:45 p.m., the Chasco Country Concert will take the stage with headliners, Darryl Worley and Rodney Adkins.  Tickets can be purchased at the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce Office for $15.  If you purchase your tickets at the gate they will cost $25, so, you should try and get your tickets early!
