According to the Standard & Poor's/Case=Shilelr index, U.S. home prices fell only 0.6 percent in April, compared with a 2.2-percent decline the previous month, as gains were recorded in 13 of the 20 metropolitan areas tracked. The spring buying season may have contributed to the improvement, S&P's David Blitzer said, adding that it is still too early to determine whether the housing market is starting to rebound. Despite the gains, prices still are down 18 percent on average from a year ago.
Let's hope that we get the economy back on track and start putting our citizens in homes.
Have a great day and enjoy!
