Hello everyone:
Something to think about if you can swing a Florida vacation away once in awhile: Timeshares.
Here's how timeshares work.
It does not matter if you are in my neighborhood of Spring Hill, Hernando Beach or anywhere else in Florida or the USA for that matter. All timeshare owners receive a deed to the unit for their designated week which is recorded at the county clerk's office. This deed is transferrable at any time. There are timeshare ownership plans that limit your use to 90 years and are not perpetual. You will have to find out what type of timeshare ownership you are purchasing.
A timeshare owner is given a designated one week every year to be able to use the condo unit, which will be the exact same week every year. Each condo unit has 52 owners, which represents the 52 weeks in each year. There are timeshare plans available at a lower cost where the owner is allowed one week every other year which is known as a bi-annual timeshare.
