Existing home sales are still on the rise in the Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County, Florida area. The home prices have dropped 40.6% since 2003, and 2.7% since March of this year, according to the S&P/Case-Shiller home price index.

For two years now, the property values have consistently depreciated, however, during the last four months small signs of stabilization have ensued. The prices have varied between $122,400 and $135,800 since January, indicating that the constant monthly decline of home prices since 2008 may have finally come to an end.

Many economists have predicted that the home prices will remain stable for many months before beginning to appreciate again. Now, is definitely the right time to buy!
