Did someone say the Hernando County FL economy was in bad shape? We now have over 10% unemployment, homes in foreclosure are increasing daily and the prediction for 2009 is more of the same.

Well, why is it then that I can't get a seat in a restaurant!! We have a new restaurant here in Hernando County called the Texas Roadhouse. I wanted to try it out so we went there for dinner Friday night. The wait was an hour and a half. Since I have no patience, we went to Carrabas next door - an hour and a half wait. Wesettled for Ruby Tuesday's.

So, I still want to go so I figured we would try again Sunday night - same thing. 1.5 hour wait at Texas Roadhouse, 1.5 hour wait at Carrabas in Spring Hill, so we call Outback & they tell us they have call ahead seating & to come on in. Guess what - 1.5 hour wait!

People, please pay your mortgages. With all the people who have stopped paying their mortgage in Hernando County & let their homes go into Foreclosure I'm never going to be able to eat. Maybe I just need some patience.
