Unfortunately do to the extensive building due to the earlier boom, we are seeing a lot of commercial vacancies in Spring Hill and Weeki Wachee. Since these buildings started during the boom, they were sure they were going to be filled, but they are not.

I live near the new Publix on 19 and there are only three other stores that joined them; the rest of the Plaza is empty. There is a Chinese restaurant and they told me they were hurting, and they usually do good in a strip mall. When I go to Publix, the employees fall over each other to help. It's great for me, but I know they don't have the customers they need.
