Pasco County, Florida home sales showed a slight incline in the month of October during a yearly comparison! According to Pasco County Property Appraiser's Office, the median sales price for the month of October was $125,000 which is nearly 38% lower than the median sales price 3 years ago. This drop in home prices is directly related to the amount of foreclosures and distressed properties that are flooding the market bringing sales prices down, however the prices appear to be stabilizing.

Many believe that the tax credit, low home prices and government programs are bringing buyers out of the woodwork and back into the market. It's not just the new homeowners that are flooding the Pasco Real Estate Market, retirees and investors are re-entering the market, as well. It's the homes that are priced well and are in move-in condition that are flying out of inventory and Pasco County has plenty of those!
