The new Weeki Wachee High school opens this year to ease the overcrowded Central and Springstead High Schools.  Dennis McGeehan(former principal at Central)  will serve as the high school's Principal.

The new e-school comes online for middle and high school students through the Florida Virtual School Program which offers courses from English to Web design.  Courses take 16-18 weeks per half credit to complete with approximately 3-5 study hours per week.  Classes must be finished by the last day of the regular school calendar.  If you would like more information on the Hernando eSchool click on the following link http://www.hernandoschools.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=391&Itemid=428

My kids go to Challenger K8 and I welcome to opportunity to sleep in a little later since their first bell rings at 9:25!
We'll always keep you posted & Enjoy!
