If you are a potential homebuyer looking for a place to negotiate price cuts, Florida is the place for you! According to Zillow, out of the 25 cities that have the biggest median discounts last month, 14 of them were located in Florida.

In Vero Beach, Indian River County, median negotiated price cuts were down by 10.2%, that's a savings of $23,500! Sarasota, Sarasota County, price cuts were down by 8.2%, Naples, Collier County, they were down by 7,8%, saving $27,233 off their purchase and in Daytona Beach, Volusia County, they were down by 7.5%!

But you better hurry if you're looking to get in on some of these negotiations, getting the better deal is becoming a bigger task. According to Stan Humphries, Zillow's chief economist, "The strong summer selling season in 2009 has led to a decreasing difference between the last listing price and final sale price, but most buyers are still getting some additional discounts at selling time."
