Hernando County hunting season is only a few months away. Now is a good time to stock up on some excellent equipment & supplies you need. Or just the things you want to have with you for those long days in the woods. You are in luck because this weekend the Southern Trophy Hunters are holding their expo at the Lakeland Center. It will be held July 9- 11. The times are: Friday 3-8:30pm., Saturday 9 am – 6 pm., Sunday 10am – 5 pm.
I have gone to the Lakeland Center for this event for the last few years. There is always a lot of nice stuff there. Some of the booths include: Premier Outfitters, Trophy Georgia Hunts, Hogs Back Ranch, Brian Daniels Guide Service, Illinois Connection, Trophy Club Outfitters, Muzzy Hunt Camp Backwoods Adventures, Flint Knapping with Billy Berger, Equip 2 Conceal Firearms Courses, and for the first time ever, Shoot Straight will also have a gun store at the show and many others. This show is a hunters extravaganza.
Even though I am not a hunter, I really enjoy going and watching my boys shop. So many things there excite the guys in my family. Personally, I spend my time looking at all the clothes, house decorations and sampling the food. I have found there is something there for everyone. See you there.
